Steak with Bourbon Garlic Cream Sauce

- 2 ribeye steaks
- 1/4 cup bourbon
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 tablespoons butter
Method
- Season the steaks with salt, pepper, and smoked paprika.
- In a skillet over medium-high heat, sear the steaks for about 4-5 minutes per side for medium-rare or to your desired doneness. Remove the steaks from the skillet and let them rest.
- In the same skillet, add the bourbon and deglaze the pan, scraping up any browned bits.
- Add the minced garlic and cook for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
- Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a simmer. Cook for about 5 minutes until the sauce thickens slightly.
- Stir in the butter until melted and well incorporated.
- Place the steaks back into the skillet and spoon the bourbon garlic cream sauce over them.
